Growthxalex – DualView Tasks & Bookmarks Privacy Policy
Our extension, “Growthxalex – DualView Tasks & Bookmarks,” does not collect any user data. Our goal is to provide a simple, efficient, and secure tool focused on helping users manage to-do lists (To-Do List) and bookmarks.
- Data Collection: This extension does not collect, store, or share any personal or activity data related to users. All task and bookmark data are stored locally in the user’s Chrome browser (using chrome.storage.sync and chrome.bookmarks APIs) and are used solely for the extension’s functionality.
- Data Usage: We do not use any user data for analytics, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to the extension’s single purpose (managing tasks and bookmarks).
- Data Sharing: We do not transfer, sell, or share any data with third parties, including advertisers or third-party services.
- Data Storage: All data is stored locally in the user’s Chrome profile and synced via Chrome’s sync feature (if Chrome Sync is enabled). Data does not leave the user’s device unless the user opts for cross-device synchronization.
- Permissions Usage: We request permissions (tabs, storage, and bookmarks) solely to support the extension’s core features: opening new tabs for the split-screen interface, storing and managing tasks, and handling bookmarks, with no data collection or tracking. The content_scripts permission is used only to load stylesheets (styles.css and dark.css) in the extension’s interface (index.html) for visual styling, with no other purposes, and does not collect or share any user data. We ensure minimal permission scope, focused on productivity and bookmark management.
- Cookies and Tracking Technologies: This extension does not use cookies, trackers, or any similar technologies to monitor or record user behavior.
- Children’s Privacy: Our extension is not designed for children under 13, and we do not collect any data related to children.
